Nagasaki A-bomb survivor visits Hanford's B Reactor

On March 9, 2018, Mr. Mitsugi Moriguchi, a survivor of the Nagasaki atomic bombing, visited Richland and toured Hanford's B Reactor, which produced plutonium for the bomb. The historic visit was part of a Nagasaki-Hanford Bridge Project sponsored by Consequences of Radiation Exposure (CORE), a Washington State organization, and partially funded by the City of Nagasaki.

The visit was covered by local, state and Japanese news media. The Tri-City Herald and Seattle Times both had articles in their March 11, 2018, editions which are available online:

Herald: "This Nagasaki bomb survivor visits Hanford. 'Do you understand my heart?' "

Times: "Nagasaki survivor visits Hanford, finds some of the story still untold"

The Seattle Times article begins with a gallery of 23 photos.
